The Harvey Public Library offers a selection of books, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks. It contains 22,000 volumes which include a large selection of easy readers for children and a section for junior readers. It also has over 100 audiobooks and DVDs.
The library offers a summer reading program. It has local history and other regional interest books. The library also recognizes local authors with book signings.
